Europe Needs Unity Against Hybrid Threats and Disinformation! Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares warned that Europe is facing a growing wave of threats, from hybrid attacks to disinformation campaigns. Speaking at the Informal Meeting of Foreign Affairs Ministers — Gymnich in Druids Glen, County Wicklow, Ireland, Albares referred to the facts presented by Germany and said the European Union is confronted with many serious challenges. He pointed in particular to hybrid threats and disinformation, including disinformation around Ceuta, saying he was sorry to see some EU governments amplify it. Albares stressed that Europe is built on unity and solidarity. Without solidarity, he warned, there would be no European Union.
